Ayer por la tarde no se trató mucho de pares, birdies, spares ni búnkers; se trató más bien de invernaderos, granjas verticales, negocios y reuniones con viejos y nuevos amigos. Como es tradición, la Indoor Ag-Con comenzó con el evento de networking en Atomic Golf, organizado por Signify y Svensson. Productores, proveedores, investigadores e inversores se reunieron para hablar del sector entre bebidas, comidas y palos de golf.

Los últimos días estuvieron repletos de actividad del CEA y, en los últimos años, varias organizaciones norteamericanas del CEA han alineado sus reuniones con el evento, lo que lo ha convertido en un encuentro más amplio del sector.
La Asociación de Acuaponía celebró su conferencia; la CEA Alliance presentó a su recién nombrada Junta Directiva 2026; y un taller previo a la conferencia dio la bienvenida a los productores de campo abierto al mundo de la agricultura en ambiente controlado.
Discurso de inauguración
El evento de Las Vegas abrió sus puertas y arrancó con un discurso de inauguración a cargo de Tom Stenzel, de CEA Alliance, tras el cual se debatirá el estado del sector con Dane Almassy, director comercial de Local Bounti; Aaron Fields, director general de Campo Caribe; Jesper Hansen, director comercial de YesHealth Group; y Josh McClung, director de operaciones de Cox Farms. A continuación, se celebraron talleres y, durante un almuerzo de gala, se entregaron los Premios CEAs, tras la apertura del recinto ferial a las 12:00.
